How Churches Can Help

Over the past century, Christian missionaries from the US and other countries have provided much needed help to the people of Haiti. In addition to providing spiritual aid, missionay groups have made extraordinary contributions to the infrastructure of Haiti by building schools, hospitals, roads and so on.  The Haitian people are grateful for the various contributions of missionary groups.  One Haitian pastor in South Florida mentioned:  "Without the help of missionaries, many Haitians would have never learned how to read or write.  Many children would have died of malnutrition or childhood diseases."
