Cardiovascular Center in Fonds Parisiens

Fonds Parisiens is a Haitian border town of 10,000 inhabitants.  The town is is located on the southern border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, 12 miles from Jimani.  A small clinic, Clinique Baptiste Chretienne,  was created in the town by a group of Baptist missionary in the 1970s.  Currently, the clinic has two medical doctors, one dentist and four nurses.  PHH is currently working together with the staff at Clinique Baptiste Chretienne to expand it into a referring cardiovascular center for all of Haiti.  Pt. who needs heart surgery will be sent across the border to our cardiovascular surgery center in the Dominican border town of Jimani.  More on the hospital in Jimani and the surgical center
