Other donations

 

Many in Haiti have been left homeless by the recent earthquake. Project Haiti Heart, Inc. is teaming up with Georgia Pediatric Cardiology, PC to collect basic humanitarian and medical supplies.

 

You may drop your supplies (Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM) at:

The deadline for collection of these items is Friday February 26th.

 

We are collecting the following items for the earthquake victims:

 

     Basic Humanitarian Supplies

  • Hygiene products (Soap, toothpaste, deodorant, toothbrush, combs)

  • Clothes (Shoes, sandals, light clothes, blankets)

  • Flash lights, batteries

  • Small toys

  • Can openers

  • Water sanitizing tablets

  • Water filters

  • Crutches

  • Mosquito spray

     

     

     

    Medications

     

  • Antiparasitic medications

    Mebendazole**, albendazole*, *thiabendazole, Metronidazole (flagyl).

     

  • Antibiotics

    Ampicillin**, amoxicillin**, dicloxacillin, oxacillin and any other penicillins (tablets and suspension), tetracycline**, doxycycline, minocyclin and other tetracycline derivatives; Bactrim**, Septra**, Dapsone and other sulfur antibiotics; Erythromycin* (tablets, suspension), biaxin, zithromax, or any other macrolides; Macrodentin, macrobid, Pediazole (Oral suspension), Ceftriaxone** (IM injection), cefuroxime (suspension and tablets),  Keflex** (suspension, tablets), lorabid (tab, suspension), cefaclor (tablets and suspension) any other p.o. cephalosporins, Ciprofloxacin* norfloxacin, ofloxacin and any other quinolones.

     

  • Asthma Medications

    (Albuterol inhaler (Meter Dose Inhaler), Steroid   inhalers).

     

  • GI medications

    Mylanta*, maalox*, tums, H2 blockers (zantac, axid, pepcid),  proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole, prevacid and othere proton pump inhibitors), H. pylori cocktail**, Bismuth subsalicylate.

     

  • Systemic antifungal medications

     Diflucan**, griseofluvin**, nystatin (suspension).

     

  • Topical anfifungal medications

    Clotrimazole** 1% cream/solution/lotion, Nystatin cream**, Terbinafine 1% cream, ketoconazole 2% cream, tinactin cream 15 cream, any other topical anti-fungals.

     

  • Topical antibiotics

    Antibiotic eye ointment* (tetracycline, erythromycin and others), Tripple antibiotics ointment**, bacitracin, neosporin, polysporin, bactroband**,  benadryl/bactroband/whitfield ointment.

     

  • Antihistamines

    (Benadryl (tablets, capsule, oral suspension).

     

  • Antiseptic

    Betadine, Hydrogen peroxide.

     

  • Cold medications

    Decongestants (nasal and systemic), Robitussin, Benadryl (tablets, capsule, oral suspension), normal saline for nasal decongestion any other cough/cold medications.

     

  • Vitamins

    Iron pills*, multivitamins** (adult and children), vitamin A supplements, vitamin D capsules, folate*, Calcium supplements.

     

  • Scabies medications

  • Lindane* 1% cream/lotion; Permetrin** (Elimite 5% cream, Nix 1% rinse).

  • Analgesics

  • Acetaminophen** (tabs, suspension, suppositories), excedrin, aspirin, Ibuprofen, naproxen, ketoprofen, and other NSAIDS**

Medical supplies and equipments

  • Urine dipsticks, urine cups and containers, ear speculum, temperature strips, measuring tapes, instant sanitizer lotion, alcohol swabs, antiseptic wipes, disposable gloves (all sizes), blood pressure cuffs (adults and children), weight scale, biohazard bags, sharp containers, tongue depressors, pregnancy test kit,  ORT solution (oral rehydration therapy), themometers, syringes, eye droppers.
