The Farmosa obstetrics and gynecology center in Fonds Parisiens was inaugurated in April of 2008.  The building includes a 2500 square-foot building with a delivery room, an operating room, a nursery, and a maternity ward. The center will provide obstetrics and gynecology care for over 100,000 women in Fonds Parisiens and surrounding communities.  The center is scheduled to open in April of 2008.

The OB/GYN center is the first stage in our long-term projects for the medical center in Fonds Parisiens.  Our vision is to built a medical center which will include an OB/GYN center, a multi-purpose emergency room, a cardiac catheterization lab, several multi-purpose operating rooms, renovation and addition of several hospital ward rooms and outpatient clinic rooms.

• Project Haiti Heart is a non-profit US based organization whose mission is to provide medical, humanitarian, and spiritual aid to the people of Haiti. We accomplish our mission through these projects: 

   

  Medical

  1) Assisting in construction of a medical center in Fonds Parisiens which will include a women and children center with obstetrics and pediatric wards, a multi-purpose emergency room, an adult ward room, and several operating rooms.

  2) Provide training for Haitian physicians and medical students

  3) Facilitate medical mission trips to Haiti for US citizens and other nationals

   

  Humanitarian

  1)Provide food and other basic necessities to the needy.

  2)Help provide education to needy children in conjunction with the Haitian Christian Mission.

   

  Spiritual

  1)Work in conjunction with the Haitian Christian Mission to train pastors and other church leaders.

  2)Facilitate Vacation Bible School and other programs to educate the children of Haiti.

The twin border cities Jimani (DR) and Fonds Parisiens (Haiti)

are within a 12 miles radius on the southern border.

• Fonds Parisiens, is a Haitian border town located seven miles from the border with the Dominican Republic. In the 1970s, a medical clinic was built by Rev. Etienne Prophete in cooperation with the Haitian Christian Mission Inc.  PHH is working closely with the Haitian Christian Mission in the construction of a medical center in Fonds Parisiens.
